Located at 1200 Avery Park Lane, on the south side of Avery Park, the Avery House is surround by a Native Plant Garden, great trails, tall old trees and a riparian ecosystem.
Our mission is to provide a broad-based environmental education program for all ages. We have been offering nature themed education for 10 years. Our programs are designed to help people discover their connection with nature and understand how our local ecosystems function. Curriculum and activities are centered around theme-based units that follow nature’s seasonal cycles. Programs include the studying of: wildlife, plants, seasons, life cycles and more!
